Daily Decrees for Provision, Anxiety, Insecurity, Depression

Updated: Mar 7, 2019

Have you ever felt that there were so many areas in your life that you needed to work on that you just didn’t know where to start?? Yep…been there.

Earlier this year, my pastor taught a series about the power of words and how the environment literally has to shift in order to make our words manifest. After hearing that message, I wrote a list of the things in my life that I was struggling with and began using my words to speak those things into (or out of) existence.

At the time, I found that I struggled with 4 specific things. I opted for the “all at once” route as opposed to the whole “one at a time” thing. (Hey, I wanted simultaneous breakthroughs!) So I came up with this acronym, P.A.I.D., which stands for provision, anxiety, insecurity, and depression. I cultivated some daily (sometimes hourly) decrees that lined up with the Word of God to speak over myself and cause a positive shift in these areas. I did this every morning, every night, and sometimes throughout the day depending my mental and emotional state for that day.

You guys… these decrees WORKED! As long as you have faith and consistency, I have no doubt that they will work for you too!

A word of advice! It’s important to speak these things in present tense and not future tense. The Word says to believe that you have already received the things that you are believing for. Speak these decrees as if they are already happening- claim it as truth right now!

Provision

  • I have the power, ability, and authority to produce wealth.

Deuteronomy 8:18

  • Everything I touch prospers; I have surplus, overflow, and more than enough.

  • Because I strive after God’s Kingdom, I am reassured that everything I need is given to me just when I need it.

Matthew 6: 31- 34

  • I don’t worry about anything, but I take everything to God in prayer and receive the peace that transcends all logic.

Philippians 4: 6-7

  • I give all of my worries and fears to God, trusting that He is working on my behalf and taking care of me.

1 Peter 5:7

  • I am so full of God’s perfect love that there is no room for fear. I am not timid, worried, or afraid. I am full of power, love, and soundness of mind.

2 Timothy 1: 7, 1 John 4:18

Insecurity

  • I don’t worry about what others say and think about me because I know that those who speak against me are proven to be wrong. I stand in my inheritance as a secure, victorious child of God.

  • I cannot be discouraged because I know that God, himself, approves of me and gives me His strength.

Isaiah 41:10

  • I never feel inadequate because I know that God’s strength is made perfect in my weaknesses.

2 Corinthians 12:9

Depression

  • I am not broken, depressed, or discouraged because I know that God goes before me and prepares a place for my success.

Deuteronomy 31:8

  • God sees and hears me. When I cry out, He comes close to me and tends to my pain.

Psalm 34: 15, 17, 18

  • I am no longer in a dark pit of sadness and destruction. God has lifted my head, given me a reason to smile, and put a song in my heart. He turned my sorrow into a happy dance!

Psalm 40: 1- 3 & 30: 11

  • I am too blessed to be depressed because God personally surrounds me with His comfort, encouragement, and refreshment.

2 Corinthians 7:6

  • I think and speak of things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and good because I know that I am what I think and I have what I speak.

Philippians 4:8, Proverbs 23:7 & 18:21

Declare these things aloud everyday, at least twice a day, and commit to doing it until your situation matches your decree! Stick with it, even if it feels like nothing is happening. Just because you can’t physically see the shift doesn’t mean that it’s not happening. There’s nothing that will accelerate this process faster than faith!
